The Toronto Raptors will be without their top rookie on Tuesday.
Forward Collin Murray-Boyles will be sidelined against the Golden State Warriors (Sportsnet ONE, 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT) due to a left thumb contusion, per Sportsnet's Blake Murphy.
Murray-Boyles is having additional imaging done on his left thumb in San Francisco today, per Sportsnet's Michael Grange.
Toronto also ruled out RJ Barrett (ankle), Jakob Poeltl (back) and Ja'Kobe Walter (hip) for the contest.
Murray-Boyles suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers when Luka Doncic hit his thumb while going for a steal. He had already started Sunday's game with a wrap around his left thumb, which he's had since suffering an initial issue on Dec. 15 against the Miami Heat.
The 20-year-old rookie has experienced pain and swelling in his thumb since Sunday, but initial X-rays were negative, Grange added.
Murray-Boyles has established himself as a key contributor with plenty of bodies out for Toronto. Through 37 games this season, he is averaging 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
Golden State will be without forward Jimmy Butler, who tore his ACL during the Warriors' Monday night win over Miami. Centre Al Horford and guard Seth Curry are also out vs. Toronto, per Murphy.
Draymond Green, Gui Santos and Will Richard are questionable to play.
At 25-19, the Raptors sit fourth in the Eastern Conference. Golden State is also 25-19, and eighth in the Western Conference.
